Download an Instagram video
Open Instagram and find the video in the main feed. On a phone, tap the three dots or the share icon and choose Copy link. On a computer, open the post and copy the address from the browser bar. The link should look like instagram.com/p/ followed by a short code. Paste it into the box above and press Download.

Download an Instagram Reel
Open the Reel, tap Share, then Copy link. Reel addresses use instagram.com/reel/ or instagram.com/reels/. The full steps, including links that open the app but still fail, are on the Instagram Reels downloader page.

ReelFetch can ignore tracking text after a question mark when it recognizes one of those paths. It does not accept a profile URL, a story URL, a direct message, or a share-preview link that omits the post path.
If something goes wrong
- The box is empty. Paste the link before pressing Download.
- The text is a name, a caption, or only “instagram”. Copy the link again from the post.
- The post is private, deleted, or limited to close friends. ReelFetch cannot retrieve it.
- The post is public but no video file came back. ReelFetch shows an error and does not save a file.
- You submitted many links in a row. Wait a moment and try again.
Privacy
